Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes

This painting was inspired by a scuba diving trip taken to the Great Barrier Reef in Cairns, Australia.  Sitting on the grates waiting to be helped back into the boat, I was struck by the peace and serenity of the ocean.  There is a calm to the ocean when you are out in the great space without any land to be seen, just a boat here and there.  Not only is the ocean inspiring within but also above.
